The first five tears I cry as I lay down to sleep,
Are the tears for the memories inside my heart,
All the days we spent side by side together,
And all the reasons we are now apart.
A tear for each single kiss we shared back then,
Just one more for the hugs and the smiles,
A tear I cry for the pain and the loneliness inside,
That I’ll feel for more than a million miles.
It doesn’t matter how many tears I cry,
Never does it stop making me feel so blue,
Cos baby, I’m ashamed to admit it but…
I’m crying a thousand tears for you.
